Choosing You

I had an incredible opportunity this past weekend to teach and attend a business retreat for female entrepreneurs. It was a truly magical and transformative experience for me. Through a lot of honest reflection, I realized a lot of my blockages that were standing between me and the life I dream of. These blockages stem mostly from fear. They are also patterns and ways of reacting that I’ve conditioned myself to default to throughout the course of my life. In order to make massive mental shifts to your thinking, the first step is identifying your patterns and really taking a long hard look at them. Once you get your mind in the right place, the next step is taking massive aligned action towards your goals. 

I have always been one to act on any free opportunity that comes along. Any sort of healer, coach, or teacher that offered any free sessions to me I always jumped on it, but then when it came down to actually investing in their programs or mentorship I always refused. I convinced myself on the surface that I didn’t need the help, that investing in something like that was an extravagance that I couldn’t afford. What I’ve realized though, is that subconsciously I was actually telling myself that I wasn’t worthy of the investment. This is a pattern that has perpetuated through much of my life, and as I now work privately with my own clients- I am realizing how much value there is in investing in yourself. By making the choice to invest in your growth, your well being, and your health, you are choosing yourself, you are seeing the value in what you have to offer this world, and you are making the conscious and deliberate effort to become the best version of yourself that you can be. 

This weekend I decided to invest in myself. It was one of the most empowering decisions I have ever made. I wanted to extend to you, my students, the same opportunity.
